I'm not a huge fan of wallpaper. Growing up, surrounded by Laura Ashley wallpaper touting vines and flowers, I often felt overwhelmed by the patterns and many colors. Therefore, when it came to redecorating my room, I opted for light yellow paint. However, sometimes even beautiful colors of paint can be boring when there is no other detail on the walls. Lucky for us, Decor Designs sells gorgeous wall decals which are not only lovely, but very classy and clean looking. These decals are the perfect answer to anyone who wants to perk up a room; and I mean, anyone, for as their profile says, "We use a durable high grade matte finish vinyl which gives a painted look and feel to your wall. Decals are easy to apply and easy to remove, leaving no residue behind. [...] Wall decals are half the expense, but twice the fun of traditional wall coverings. Save time and money and have some fun!! Budget friendly and removable in minutes, perfect for renters. Dorm rooms could transform in minutes and decorating nurseries no longer meant applying wallpaper only to have to strip it down when baby grows up."

I absolutely love the chandelier wall decal; it would look amazing in a kitchen which otherwise would be blah, but can easily be transformed into a kitchen ready to be photographed by Country Living Magazine. Decor Designs also makes a decal of the loveliest of them all, Audrey Hepburn. Wouldn't she look outstanding in a hallway or above a vanity? I think this maple tree design would look great in the middle of two side tables or bookcases. And, what baby's room would be complete without this too-sweet image of a mama and baby elephant?

It's the easiest, cleanest, and most beautiful way to turn your house into a home!

PS. All the decals mentioned in this post have free shipping within the continental United States! What a great deal!

  1. I love these! I tried to convince my roommates to get them for our suite junior year, but it never happened, so they're still waiting for their moment in my life, haha.

Anyway, I thought of you girls when I saw these - accessoire.etsy.com - flowers for hair, purses, jackets, whatever. Pretty cute!
