Lovely Etsy Find: Lovely Local Jewelry!

I love hearing about new endeavours, especially when they are a friend or acquaintance. Today's Etsy Find of the Day comes from a brand new jewelry store out there, the store of Pilar Duarte Tudor. Pilar, a "Graduate Gemologist Degree from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America in New York" designs and manufactures all her own jewelry in Manhattan, and as she states, "I love incorporating unusual and exotic gemstones such as Amazonite, Peruvian Opal and other gorgeous undiscovered treasures."

This holiday season, splurge a little and buy your sister, mother, best friend, new bride, or yourself this beyond gorgeous "Marie Necklace." The necklace is, "Sky blue Amazonite round beads on 8 magenta hand dyed silk cords. The Cords make it possible to wear this piece at whatever length you feel most comfortable. The beaded portion of this necklace is 13.5 inches long, the silk ribbons on each side are about 18 inches."
