Good Morning, Lovelies! How was your weekend? Hot, like ours? This weekend was a lovely one, filled with many simple pleasures, like sewing, cooking, and for the first time for me: gardening! (PS. My weekend was vastly different than Jenny's, as you will see soon!)

I started the weekend off with a little quilting. My triangles aren't perfect, but the gorgeous fabric makes up for that!
I took a little walk in Northport on Friday morning; it was so relaxing to sit by the water, have a snack and just people watch. A very mini-vacation!
I tried this delicious water and it inspired me to buy some herbs to plant so I could make my own herbal water (for a lot cheaper!)
I read this hilarious book in one day! It's a great fluff summer reading book for anyone.
Saturday night we headed over to Home Depot where I bought some vegetables and herbs to plant. I know it's a little late in the season, but here's to hoping I get some bounty!
My new little garden! I planted basil, dill, mint, yellow and red peppers and cucumbers. I can't wait to see what will happen! Do you have a garden or plant vegetables or herbs?
